Speech Language Pathologist Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,408 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Profession: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Specialty: Speech Pathology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: M-F Hours per Shift: 8 hours (9a-5p, willing to flex), occasional weekends Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: WA license required Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Must-Have: Acute inpatient experience required. Video swallow experience preferred, but not required. Description: The department treats 1-10 patients per day, with the census varying. Common diagnoses include general medical conditions, CVA, end of life care, post-op cervical assessments, primarily focused on dysphagia and swallow evaluations, with limited cognitive evaluations and treatment. The role covers various areas including ICU, PCU, Tele, Medical, Surgical, and Emergency Department. Occasional weekend shifts may be required, limited to 3-4 hours per shift, and holiday coverage is occasionally needed, with hours ranging from 4-8. The dress code is business casual or scrubs of any color. The charting system used is EPIC. Hospital policy allows for cancellations of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
