Atlanta Gentle Dental seeks an enthusiastic and skilled Traveling Dental Assistant, specialized in Endodontics, to join our mobile dental care unit. This role involves providing essential support to our endodontists during dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort. Our mobile units travel to different Atlanta locations, offering an exciting opportunity for professionals who enjoy diverse work environments and meeting new patients. The role requires adept skills in managing clinical duties and maintaining a sterile environment, potential candidates should thrive in changing settings and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Assist endodontists during various dental procedures including setup and cleanup of the operatory. Travel to various locations as part of a mobile dental unit. Ensure all equipment is sterilized and adheres to health and safety regulations. Support multiple endodontists with patient management and procedural tasks. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene. Document dental care services by charting in patient records. Strong understanding of dental surgery procedures and assistive roles. High proficiency in using dental instruments and understanding sterilization techniques. Excellent organizational skills for handling travel logistics and scheduling. Ability to communicate effectively with both team members and patients. Radiology certification as required by state regulations.
