Pharmacist Location: Coupeville, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,731 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of experience required in specialty License: Active state license required Certifications: PharmD, IV Certification, BLS, RPh Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with medication management in inpatient settings - Preferred experience with Meditech charting system Description: Facility requires local candidates. First time travelers are accepted. COVID-19 vaccine is required with medical or religious exemptions only. Flu vaccine is also required with medical or religious exemptions only. Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 17 patients. The unit has 25 rooms and 25 beds. Common patient diagnoses include COPD exacerbations, pneumonias, cellulitis, post-operative patients, and urinary tract infections. Critical access hospital with inpatient services includes ICU, medical surgical, and obstetrics. There is a busy emergency department and infusion center. Expected to function independently as the sole pharmacist on site during certain times. The role involves extensive collaboration with rapid response teams and pharmacy staff. Skills required include knowledge of anticoagulation therapy, cardiac dosing, and therapeutic medication monitoring. Experience with high-alert medications and various patient treatment plans is essential. Ability to manage pain control analgesia and administer IV push medications is necessary.
