Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist (Computed
Tomography) Specialty: CT (Computed Tomography) Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday-Sunday Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CT experience, including
knowledge of ER type scans License: WA State Department of Health
License for Radiology Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified
CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Must-Have: At least 1 year of CT
experience Description: The position is for a CT Technologist
specializing in computed tomography. The candidate will work on
weekends, specifically Friday through Sunday. The typical shift
runs from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The department is equipped with two
scanners, GE and Toshiba. In the event that the GE machine is down,
the candidate should be knowledgeable in using the Toshiba scanner.
The average workload involves performing around 30 scans per day
during a 12-hour shift. Imaging studies include CTA, Body, and
Neuro scans. Familiarity with the EMR and PACS systems,
specifically McKesson and Epic, is required. The candidate must be
comfortable with initiating IVs, as most emergency department
patients arrive with established IVs. The role may involve floating
to cover other areas as needed. Radiologists are available during
the day but not during the evening or on weekends. The position
requires a response time of 30 minutes for call or standby
requirements. Employees are expected to wear solid color scrubs,
which are provided. A department-specific orientation will be
