Opportunity in Pediatric Infectious Disease We are seeking a
full-time Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to deliver both
inpatient and outpatient consultations across various hospital
settings, including NICU, PICU, and pediatric wards. Key
responsibilities encompass clinical duties, offering infection
prevention consultations, managing antimicrobial stewardship, and
engaging in medical education for residents and students. This role
is part of a multi-specialty clinic within a comprehensive health
network serving the Pacific Northwest region. Our organization is
eager to welcome a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible
Pediatric Infectious Disease physician to enhance our dynamic
practice. Responsibilities will include supporting the inpatient
consultation service for the NICU, PICU, and pediatric floor at our
main medical center, as well as the neonatal units at additional
facilities. The selected candidate will also contribute to an
outpatient consultation service for Pediatric Infectious Disease,
which includes opportunities for virtual consultations and
electronic consultations (e-consults) from colleagues in Pediatric
Primary and Secondary care and Family Medicine. Beyond clinical
responsibilities, the physician will provide expertise and guidance
on Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship Services, as
well as support the Medical Microbiology Committee. Additionally,
the role involves offering consultation services to the broader
health system in the area of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. The
ideal candidate will also participate in Continuing Medical
Education (CME) initiatives for peers in the Pediatric Department
and contribute to the training of Medical Residents from our Family
Medicine Residency programs and Medical Students from a local
university. Annual compensation ranges from $222,077 to $294,444
Comprehensive benefits package includes health, vision, dental,

shift incentives, as applicable. CME benefits may also be
available. Work Environment Our Pediatric Specialty Care clinic
features a team of Pediatric-trained professionals across various
specialties, including Urology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology,
Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Neurology,
Orthopedics, and registered dieticians. Pediatric Cardiology
services are also available at our main medical center. As the
leading high-risk delivery center in the Pacific Northwest, we
conduct over 12,000 deliveries annually, providing a robust
referral network for prenatal consultations and newborns with
congenital anomalies and renal issues. With a strong primary care
