hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must
have current license or compact license Certifications: AWHONN
Advanced, BLS, NRP (required); ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Active
compact license is required. Candidates must have a minimum of two
years of experience. Candidates with less than two years or no
experience with C-sections will be screened out. Candidates must be
screened for AWHONN Intermediate certification for manager
approval. Floating to another unit is required. Description: This
role involves caring for patients in a high-risk antepartum
setting. Conditions treated may include preterm labor, previa,
preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, premature rupture of
membranes, twins, and substance use disorder in pregnancy. The
nurse will provide care for fetal demise or loss of patients both
antepartum and postpartum. Care will also be provided to postpartum
mothers with babies in neonatal intensive care units, but no
newborns are present on this unit. The nurse will assist with
sterile speculum exams including effacement, dilation, station, and
presentation. Responsibilities include maintaining central lines
(CVC/PICC), administering anticoagulants, insulin drips, and
magnesium sulfate therapy. The role may also involve circulating
for C-sections. Support in amniocentesis and sterile spec exams at
the bedside is expected. Equipment used may include PCA pumps and
syringe pumps. The nurse must have skills in anticoagulation
therapy and IV therapy/phlebotomy. The nurse should be prepared to
