Mammography Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic at Pacific
Medical Centers summary: The Mammography Technologist performs
specialized radiological procedures to diagnose and treat breast
diseases in an outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality imaging
and patient care. They must comply with federal quality standards
and may also perform general radiography depending on the location.
The role requires formal radiologic training, relevant
certifications, and may involve continuous professional development
and training. Description This position is required to perform a
variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the
diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume
outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high quality
radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring
and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required
quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality
Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be
required to utilize general radiography skills to perform

are strongly encouraged to apply. While onboarding and
comprehensive professional development will be provided, candidates
must successfully complete our mandatory 48-hour mammography
training course prior to commencing employment. Required
Qualifications: Successful completion of a formal radiologic
technology training program, which meets the requirements for
registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
(ARRT). Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National
Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National
Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists upon hire. National Registered
Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire. Dependent on
location, prior general radiography experience may be required.
Preferred Qualification: Two (2) years full-time mammography

placement on the wage range for this position will be determined

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may
be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
