Express Healthcare Staffing of Tualatin Oregon is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Wenatchee, Washington. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 16 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Shift: NOC (20:30 - 06:00), 40hrs/wk Pay Breakdown: • Hourly: $59.00/hr Taxed ($2,360.00/wk Taxed) • Per Diem Eligibility: $1,246.00/wk = • $3,606.00/wk Gross Eligibility Required: • BLS • Washington State Certification as radiologic technologist. • Must be a graduate of a course in Radiologic Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). • ARRT registered in MRI. • At least 2 years of previous MRI experience required. Job Functions: • Prepares for and performs all MRI examinations while operating assigned equipment in a safe manner as instructed. • Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for the effective utilization of the MRI scanner. • Performs IV access, using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision. • Maintains the cleanliness of the scanner and associated minor equipment in accordance with infection control policies and procedures. • Follows good MRI safety and quality assurance procedures. • Utilizes PACS, RIS, and current EMR efficiently and completes required paperwork for each examination performed. • Complies with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities. • Lifts patients as needed and when this can be accomplished safely and according to policy. • Transfers patients using safe ergonomic technique and utilizes the hydraulic lift or other safe patient handling devices and the patient's family members or caregivers when necessary.
