Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech Job Details: • Work three 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 36 hours • Day/Evening shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM • Prepare for and perform all MRI examinations while operating equipment safely • Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective MRI scanner utilization • Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision • Maintain cleanliness of scanner and associated equipment per infection control policies • Follow MRI safety and quality assurance procedures • Utilize PACS, RIS, and EMR systems efficiently and complete required paperwork • Comply with continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities • Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and appropriate devices • Required certifications: BLS, Washington State Certification as radiologic technologist • Must be ARRT registered in MRI with at least 2 years of previous MRI experience • Must be graduate of Radiologic Technology course approved by ARRT Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical facility providing advanced diagnostic imaging services to the community.
