supervision, the pharmacy technician in the Anticoagulation Clinic
(ACC) is responsible for providing technical support under the
supervision of a registered pharmacist, which includes but is not
limited to: medication order triage, pending lab orders, triaging
incoming patient calls, in-basket management, and supporting ACC
clinicians (PharmD, ARNP, RN). The technician’s duties require
interaction with physicians, nurses, and other health care
providers. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-hour shift between 7am-5pm PST
(shifts determined following training period) Location: 3901 Hoyt
Avenue, Everett, WA Primary Responsibilities: Patient Care Patient
outreach via telephone, MyChart, or other means Provides basic
technological support for patients (i.e. telehealth visits, signing
up for MyChart, etc.) Support scheduling/rescheduling of patient
visits to ensure patients have follow-up Ensures patient access to
materials (i.e. mailing patient education handouts and other
handouts, test strips for home INR patients, etc.) Workflow
Management Manages and triages incoming calls to the department
Management of telephone encounters in in-basket/pools Requests
ARNP/Pharmacist/RN intervention when needed Tracks and retrieves
patient lab results Triages orders in an appropriate manner Track
and inform clinicians of patient discharge from acute care
facilities (i.e. hospital, skilled nursing) Performs monthly
controls for Coaguchek Point of Care devices Check for outdated
medications and supplies and removes them from inventory
Interactions with Teammates Maintains professionalism and
courteousness in interactions with patients and teammates Answers
non-discretionary questions from patients and teammates Cleans and
maintains clinic areas Keeps desk, work areas, and counter tops
cleaned and free of clutter Maintain knowledge and skills needed to
perform duties Support training of new technicians, pharmacy
interns, and clinicians All staff members are to promote a positive

satisfactorily performing his or her job responsibilities and
conducting themselves in a professional, courteous, and respectful
manner toward fellow employees, physicians, and patients Must

Diploma/GED (or higher) Active Pharmacy Technician license in the
state of Washington Completion of a Pharmacy Technician
certification program approved by the Washington State Board of
Pharmacy 1 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Preferred
Qualification: 3 years of experience working as a Pharmacy
Technician Epic or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
experience Retail Pharmacy Technician experience Soft Skills:
Proven organizational skills Proven solid and clear verbal and
written communication Proven ability to learn and apply computer
skills Proven attention to detail Proven ability to problem solve
Proven positive team attitude Proven ability to work with a diverse
range of people PLEASE NOTE The sign-on bonus is only available to
external candidates. Candidates who are currently working for

eligible to receive a sign on bonus. The salary range for this role
is $ 16.88 to $ 33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay
is based on several factors including but not limited to local
labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
