Description The float pool department plays a vital role in
maintaining the quality and consistency of patient care across the
hospital by providing a versatile and adaptable workforce. Float
pool nurses are not simply valued - they're invaluable, providing
crucial support to all acute care units experiencing temporary
staffing shortages including boarders in the emergency department,
step down units, med/surg telemetry units, lock down psych,
long-term care and many more. This position provides nurses with

nurses, we must empower them. Description: Candidates must have
strong critical thinking skills and be able to manage patients in
behavioral crisis. The caregiver in this role will be a
well-organized and self-motivated nurse with the ability to work
autonomously and in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
to build patient-centered, individualized, trauma-informed care
plans for a wide range of patients with behavioral needs. Who we
serve: Members of this small team will provide a consultative
service to bedside care teams caring for patients with behavioral
needs in emergency services and admitted to acute care units
throughout the facility. The goal of this team is to ensure a
compassionate, individualized plan of care that ensures the safety
and dignity of any patient who is struggling to maintain behavioral

- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon
