optimization, and production flow. As Senior Industrial Engineer,
you will develop innovative and complex factory layouts using
simulation modeling to optimize our manufacturing operations and
enhance production efficiency. The ideal candidate has demonstrated
experience designing and optimizing manufacturing systems from the
ground up. They enjoy analytical problem solving and possess
practical knowledge of factory design, process engineering, and
discrete event simulation. They thrive in an interdisciplinary
environment and have led the development of efficient manufacturing
systems in highly automated environments. Key job responsibilities
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute factory designs
from concept to production including specification, layout,
simulation, validation and implementation - Own the detailed design
and performance of manufacturing systems through simulation
modeling and process engineering - Develop and analyze discrete
event simulations to validate factory designs and capacity
requirements - Apply Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to optimize
manufacturing processes and material flows - Design and implement
efficient material flow systems for automated production
environments - Create and maintain factory simulation models and
digital twins to support capacity planning and optimization - Work
with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality
organizations as well as vendors to ensure a smooth factory launch
- Collaborate with automation teams to integrate robotic systems
into factory design - Write functional specifications, design
verification plans, and process validation procedures - Exhibit
role model behaviors of industrial engineering best practices,
thorough and predictive engineering analysis and cradle to grave
ownership - Experience using advanced simulation modeling tools
(Flexsim, Arena, Simio, etc.) - Experience in complex work
environments, including (but not limited to robotics, automation,
diagnostic and test equipment) - Experience in creating process
improvements with automation and analysis - Experience
collaborating and influencing multiple teams across multiple
organizations - Experience working in an Agile environment -
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing
Engineering, or related field - Experience applying Lean/Six Sigma
principles in manufacturing environments (VSM, Kaizen, DMAIC,
Poka-Yoke, etc.) - Experience designing factory layouts or
production lines - Experience writing technical documents, project
plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders -
Experience with full lifecycle development of manufacturing systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate simulation insights into
practical implementation plans - Master's degree in industrial or
manufacturing engineering - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
certification - Experience using data visualization tools -
Experience with the project management of technical projects -
Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and
delivering measurable results in an agile environment - Experience
in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation and
maintenance - Experience with digital twin technology for factory
simulation - Experience integrating robotics and automation into
manufacturing processes - Experience with data analysis for
manufacturing optimization - Experience launching new manufacturing
facilities or production lines - Proficiency with Product Lifecycle

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
