We are engineers, scientists, arborists, landscape architects, planners, and more, with decades of experience working throughout the PNW and the nation. Job Description We are seeking a motivated and talented Structural Project Engineer, to act as a project manager on our dynamic team in Burlington, WA. The ideal candidate will manage, plan, and design diverse structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Primary Responsibilities Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing structures Attend meetings with clients, jurisdictional agencies, other professionals and organizations Develop engineering solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule and project constraints Manage, administer and design structural engineering projects and structural components of non-structural projects Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. Mentor aspiring engineers. Qualifications Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering, Master of Engineering preferred Licensed Professional Engineer Licensed Structural Engineer preferred 4 years within a consulting environment firm 5 years leading structural engineering projects Familiarity with design and analysis using various materials including but not limited to metals such as steel and aluminum; concrete and precast concrete; prestressed and post-tensioned concrete; CMU; wood and mass timber Strong leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Well versed in regulatory and permitting requirements Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate with others to explore alternative solutions Comfortable performing in an environment that requires independent evaluation, judgment and decision making Working knowledge of structural modeling software, including or similar to RISA suite of software: 2D; 3D; Foundation; Floor, Enercalc, ADAPT, ETABS Must be proficient in AutoCAD Exceptional oral and written communication skills including the ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, complex reports and to orally communicate technical information to others Benefits and Compensation Competitive salary with opportunities for performance-based bonuses Generous Paid Time Off (vacation and sick) 7 fixed holidays and 2 floating holidays Fully paid employee medical, dental, and vision coverage Employer paid for dependents medical, dental and vision paid at 60% Choice of a traditional copay plan or High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings account (HSA) Facet fully funds HSAs to the IRS maximum ($4400 for individuals and $8750 for families) for employees selecting the HDHP with HSA $300 annual fitness benefit $100,000 employer paid life insurance Employer paid long-term and short-term disability Voluntary plans include additional group life, accident, hospitalization, and serious illness 401(k) retirement plan with company matching of 4.5%
