(BCA) is looking for Associate , Mid-Level & Experienced Software
Certification Engineers to join our engineering team located in
Everett, WA. This position is critical mission of developing and
certifying safe, reliable, and innovative aircraft. This role is
paramount in ensuring that our aircraft not only meet but exceed
the rigorous safety standards set forth by the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA). The Software Certification Engineer will play
a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and excellence,

hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate,
Mid-Level and Experienced Software Certification Engineers.
Position Responsibilities: Designs, develops, analyzes, and
maintains software systems that meet industry, customer, and
internal quality, safety, security and certification standards.
Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition
and translate system-level requirements into software requirements
and models that meet customer, operational needs, performance
requirements and have clear traceability to design, code and test
artifacts. Oversee the preparation and submission of comprehensive
technical documentation required for FAA certification, ensuring
that all materials reflect the highest standards of accuracy and
thoroughness. Completes software system-level analyses to identify
risks, issues and opportunities; integrates and deploys mitigation
actions throughout the software lifecycle. Performs code reviews to
ensure alignment to requirements and standards. Monitors and
reviews test completion, verification processes, and issue
resolution for software systems. Develops user documentation and
training to educate end users about usage of software products.
Reviews product and process for alignment with project plans and
industry standards by tracking and evaluating internal team and
supplier performance. Implements current and emerging technologies,
tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software
development. Performs software project management and software
supplier management activities. We work in a casual but

to our teams each day. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/
Experience): 2 years’ experience in software engineering. 2 years’
experience with software development using either Java, C++, or
Python. 1 years' of experience in RTCA DO-178(B/C) Software
Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor of
Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering,
engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering
technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or
computer science 5 or more years' related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. Leads
activities to develop, document and maintain architectures,
requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software
systems. Knowledge of company, state, federal and/or International
compliance regulations (e.g. import/export, intellectual
properties, International Standards Organization [ISO], Federal
Aviation Administration [FAA], Joint Aviation Authorities [JAA],
International Civil Aviation Organization [ICAO], International
Traffic In Arms Regulations [ITAR]). Travel: 10% Union: This is a

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for
Associate: $92,650.00 - $125,350.00 Summary pay range for
Mid-Level: $114,750.00 - $155,250.00 Summary pay range for
Experienced: $136,850.00 - $185,150.00 Applications for this
