Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
full-semester Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available to provide specialized support within a middle school
setting in Seattle, WA. This contract role offers a unique
opportunity to work with both middle school students and homebound
learners, delivering direct therapy services and assisting with
advanced communication technologies. Responsibilities include:
Providing SLP services primarily to middle school students from
Tuesday to Friday. Supporting homebound students on Mondays,
including those utilizing AAC devices and eye gaze technology.
Managing a caseload that balances school-based therapy with
homebound support. Collaborating with educators and staff to tailor
interventions for student needs. Participating in transition and
coordination meetings to ensure continuity of care. Starting with a
planned overlap period alongside the current SLP for a smooth
handoff. Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Education Service Assistant (ESA) certification through the state
education department. Experience working with secondary school-aged
students preferred. Knowledge of augmentative and alternative
communication (AAC) techniques. Ability to deliver services both
in-person within a school environment and for homebound students.
Strong communication and organizational skills. Location and
Schedule: On-site position in Seattle, WA, at a middle school.
Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
(Monday start at 8:30 AM). Contract duration through June 17, 2026,
with an immediate start and overlap planned. This role offers the
