Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a dedicated school psychologist to serve a K-12 public school located in Clallam Bay, WA. The position is a contract role for the full school year, running from September 1 through June 15. The role requires working five days per week, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional additional meeting times as needed. The psychologist will support a diverse caseload of students ages PK-22 across all disabilities except communication-only concerns. Caseload size varies; last year, approximately 68 students were tested, while this years testing is expected to exceed 50 students due to additional referrals mid-year. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, managing transfer reviews, and completing evaluation waivers with psych input as appropriate. Services will be delivered across one campus comprising three buildings. Key qualifications and experience include: Credentials and training in school psychology Experience working with a wide range of disabilities and student ages Ability to conduct formal assessments and provide data-informed recommendations Flexibility to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills to manage fluctuating caseload demands This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with the potential for a hybrid schedule. However, all psychological testing must be performed in person on campus. Daily on-site presence is preferred to support comprehensive service delivery and school collaboration.
