Your role involves managing access control, monitoring alarm panels, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: - Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors entering the location, providing a professional and welcoming presence at the front desk. - Verify identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies and procedures. - Monitor access to the facility, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or security-related incidents. - Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines. - Maintain accurate records and logs of visitor and employee activity as required. - Communicate clearly and promptly with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders as needed. - Support security-related operations by following established procedures and contributing to a secure environment at the location. - Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, in accordance with site-specific training and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: - At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. - Alarm panel experience is preferred. - Customer service experience is preferred. - Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
